Working out how to website.

It’s with great shame I admit I’ve been paying for this website for over a year and yet since setting it up have done little with it. Somewhere between writing several science stories every day and using up a significant chunk of my spare time to write a third book, while spending the rest of it worrying about the two unpublished ones I’ve already written, there isn’t much time for anything else.

I was chatting to a couple of writer friends about it just the other day and they suggested why not start a sort of micro-blog. Short snappy updates that aren’t SEO optimised or trying to show, not tell. In other words, the easy stuff.

So here I am, committing to writing a blog every day to get into the habit. Perhaps it’ll be a hoot. Perhaps I’ll stick to it this time. Perhaps - even - it’ll be seen by someone other than myself. A girl can dream.

For now, I’ll leave you with a podcast I recently did about making dogs live forever (hopefully).
